Welcome to the Roobarb and Custard website!

Roobarb and Custard are iconic British animated characters who first appeared on TV in the 70s; the first cartoon ever to run as a series with manic animation, music and humour loved by children and parents it was a winning combination.

The original cult series by Grange Calveley was narrated by Richard Briers, directed by Bob Godfrey and shown on the BBC. Richard returned in 2005 to voice over Grange's new Roobarb and Custard Too episodes, which still airs on Channel 5's kids TV strand Milkshake!
